Serigraphy, also known as screen printing, consists on the stamping of images or text into almost any surface.  With this printing technique ink is applied to the glass surface through the use of a custom mesh screen with areas blocked off by a stencil. The final stage of the process concerns the transit of the glass through an industrial oven with temperatures higher than 600º C, which allows the ink to fix to the glass. Summarizing, it is a combined process of painting and tempering.
